Oleoducto Trail - Bird Watching
The famous Pipeline Trail
It received its name in the 1940s when the Allies dug this trail in the desert to accommodate an oil pipeline that was never completed. Today it is famous for hosting more than 350 species of birds and is a favorite of Audubon Society members. Here you are guaranteed to connect with nature and from deep in the jungle, you will discover its best kept secrets along its 17-kilometer trail: butterflies, amphibians, monkeys and dozens of other wild creatures.
