PET POLICY
- Guests are welcome to bring only one (1) canine companion. canine companion with a maximum weight of 20 kilos or less.
- One (1) pet per room is allowed.
- Guest agrees to pay a cleaning fee of $45.00 per night at check in.
- Guide dogs, or emotional support dogs have no charge, and the guest must provide the certificate from the doctors.
- Pets should not be aggressive, should be well trained to socialize with other animals and properly educated so as not to bother the rest of the guests.
- When requested, appropriate medical certifications confirming up-to-date vaccinations must be available, and pets must be free of ticks and fleas.
- Pet owners are required to sign a letter regarding pet policies at check-in before the pet is allowed in the room or public areas.
- The hotel reserves the right to charge the guest's credit card for any repair charges required in the room for excessive damage caused by the pet. If the damage is discovered after the guest's departure, the card will be charged for repairs at check-out. Guest agrees that the condition of the room is based on the hotel management's judgment at check-out.
- The guest is responsible for all property damage and/or personal injury as a result of their pet.
- The pet must remain on a leash at all times when outside the guest's room.
- Pets must not be left unattended at any time. They must be accompanied by their owners when walking in common areas or leaving the hotel.
- Guests may walk their pet in public areas of the hotel to and from their room and in the gardens. Guests are responsible for picking up waste in and around the hotel at all times and disposing of it in the garbage containers marked as organic waste.
- With the exception of special service animals, dogs are not allowed in the Corotu Restaurant, meeting room areas, Fitness Center, Sensory Spa, pool area and tours.
- The guest is responsible for always keeping his/her pet on a leash or confined in a cage or pet crate during any service visit offered in the room by any of the hotel's departments. This includes: room service, bellhop service, housekeeping, security or any other special service provided to the room.
- Any disturbance such as barking should be restricted.
- The pet owner must dry and groom the pet when it is wet or dirty, before entering the room.
- The guest will notify the Resort of any "accidents" made by their pet and immediately request cleaning assistance.
- The guest should keep the pet off any furniture such as beds, chairs and sofas.
- In the event of injury caused by a guest's pet to other guests, customers, employees, visitors, suppliers or any person lawfully on the hotel premises or to their property, the guest agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Gamboa Rainforest Reserve and all partners, directors, officers, employees and entities affiliated with the foregoing, from any damage, loss, suit, cost or expense for any of the foregoing, as a result of damage or injury caused by guests' pets.
